FAQs - Interior Kits Installation
Please use the pictorial guide to help install your Hangers interior storage. It has been designed for the DIY market so take your time and "measure twice cut once".
Please use cavity plugs if you have a cavity wall or soft blocks, and red plugs on a traditional wall.
If your floor is not level, this does not present a problem, as you can either cut an upright to compensate, or just set your interior out level.
You can set your hanger bars and shelves at whatever heights that you want, if indeed they need moving afterwards, its only a simple operation to move them. When adding a shelf to a hanger bar on the same bracket, it is advised that you drop in the nuts, behind the shelf as access is not available with the shelf in place when you tighten up the screws and nuts.
We recommend that you use a workmate to hold the tubes in place when you cut them with a hacksaw.
We also recommend that the whole system can be fixed to the wall using angle blocks for added rigidity. We can also provide these if required.
Please ensure that all screws (A) are fitted to the holes in the tube ends, as these are required for strength. If you have cut a bar, then dot punch and re-drill the fixing point.
We have also provided shelf ends, so when you cut your shelf, these can cover up the cut end and any break out. Please drill through these when fitting your shelves. Again this all adds strength to the finished system.
If you need to make additions to your interior system, please see the list of extras we can provide to extend your storage options.
